Our Brewer, Salo Maldonado, has been a pioneer of craft beer in Brazil for the last decade. He is famous in Brazil as being the first brewery to make a collaboration brew with Brew Dog. Salo is widely respected in the brewing community having won the Best Beer of Brazil at the 2018 World Brewing Awards. In 2019 Salo was invited to Judge these awards where his beers also picked up 4 medals.

The design work for MOTIM beers is created by Marcelo Ment who is a famous Street Artist from Rio.

    Brewed with Pilsen Malt and Saaz Hops, Motim Hideout Lager is the refreshing craft lager of the infamous Motim Brewpub in Rio de Janeiro.

    This is not a classic Lager. This is a Carioca Lager, and it is characterised by its light body, enticing citrus aroma refreshing taste of Pilsen malt and Citra hops. Refreshing, aromatic and, definitely, Carioca! It is our tribute to our great city, Rio de Janeiro.
